About Me

I'm Nicola Halls, owner of Bespoke Cakes by Nicola.

I'm based in Kettering, Northamptonshire. My husband and I were married at The Barns at Hunsbury Hill in Northampton and I have 3 adult children.

I began my cake journey in 2011, when my children were small, making birthday cakes for family and friends. I got a lot of comments about how tasty my cakes were and that I should do this as a business.

I took several courses in sugar flowers and cake decorating with amazing teachers such as, Natalie Porter, Suzanne Esper and Paul Bradford.

I made my first wedding cake in 2018 and loved it!

I love working with couples to create individual designs for their special day and turning cake dreams into reality.
